Texas Boxer Rescue - Marco
Forever in our hearts...

It is with great sadness that we learned that Marco, adopted from Texas Boxer Rescue in November of 2002, and much loved by Trish and his sister Boxer Annie, has passed away from a brain tumor.
Marco came to our rescue from a City of Dallas shelter in June, 2002. He was thin, had been covered with ticks, was suffering from a respiratory infection, and tested positive for heartworms. Marco was a cropped, red stag fawn Boxer boy, that we knew was very special. After several months of veterinary care and good food, Marco was ready to find a home. We were so pleased to place him with Trish and her Boxer Annie! Marco seemed to be a perfect "fit" for their family.
Trish has kept us updated on Marco. We've watched -- via the pictures she sent, him become a beautiful and much loved part of her family. Marco and Annie stayed with Trish's parents each day while she was at work, and shared their abundant Boxer love with an extended family that loved and appreciated them.
We share in Trish's sadness at the loss of her wonderful boy, and most of all, we thank her for giving him a lifetime of love, caring and commitment in the few months he shared with her.
